Homemade Snack Bar Recipe

Greetings

So sometimes you're tryna get your fitness and health life in order but sweet and pastry cravings won't let you be great. You give a bite that lil' chocolate and then a "bite" has now turned into the entire bar disappearing with out a trace. Because now guilt has you, you convince yourself that you'll start eating clean from the following week and so the weeks just keep on following each other and pretty soon "that" summer body is still out of reach. Fret not once more, I'm the gift that keeps on giving, read on for my healthy "I can still get that 6 pack" snack. I'm not promising you a 6 pack though.

A couple of days ago I decided to make my own bar because sometimes I just like throwing things together to see if it will actually become something worthy of my tastebuds. Turns out this snack bar was worthy. So here I am sharing it with you...

Ingredients:

1 cup oats

1/2 cup bran flakes

1 tea spoon cocoa powder

1 spoon coconut oil

1/2 cup honey

hand full of dried peaches

Preparation:

-Put the honey and coconut oil in a pot and wait until hot, but not boiling.

-Add all the dry ingredients into the same pot.

-Mix them all together for 1 minute.

-Transfer Mixture into a lined baking tray and press down flat to the thickness you want.

-Place in the fridge to cool down for an 1 hour.

-Cut into bars (You can put yoghurt on top to make it more interesting).

-Enjoy!

Did you try this recipe? Do you have your own that you want to share? Let me know below...
