Likhobe tsa mabele with a twist aka Sorghum Rice

Likhobe (pronuounced Dikgobe) tsa mabele is what one would call Sorghum Rice. I love it! This is what the ancient one ate before all these thing that we eat now. The pasta, rice, noodles etc..so Let's back track shall we? Oh, and the twist is not so much a twist it's really just me putting veggies to make it "fancy".

You will need:

2 cups Sorghum Grain

Coconut Oil

Onion

Green pepper

Barbecue Spice

2 cups Water

And the cooking:

Put the sorghum and water into a pot and bring to boiling.

Let it cook for an hour or so.

The sorghum grain will look puffed.

When the water is almost dry, add half a teaspoon of coconut oil and a teaspoon of Barbecue spice.

Add the green pepper and onion and allow to cook for 15 minutes.

Let it simmer!

Serve and enjoy! :-)
